Fiber offers faster speeds and greater capacity than copper cables or fixed wireless; it’s less susceptible to weather conditions; it can provide the bandwidth to meet the growing broadband demands for households, as our common household goods like refrigerators and washers and dryers begin to have the capacity for connection.
Albeit shocking, numerous forecasts show by 2030 each American household is expected to have anywhere between 15-30 smart devices in need of internet connection, and that number continues to rise as the smart appliance market takes hold.
Fiber will support 15, 20, 30 or even 100 devices in need of connection per home, and Aristata is in a position to offer fiber at competitive prices while supporting the local communities we serve. This deployment won’t happen overnight. It requires infrastructure, partnerships and planning, but we are launching this effort and sharing the news with you first!
We’ve already begun this work in Buena Vista and Salida and we intend to expand to Poncha Springs and hopefully, in Custer County and parts of Fremont County. As we pass homes and businesses, we’ll be dropping door hangers with our new Screamin’ Fast Fiber badge. When you see that, it means you are eligible for fiber. Give us a call and let Aristata upgrade you to the new gold standard as it becomes available.
We live, work and play in the region we serve, and we are thrilled to begin offering fiber, the gold standard of Internet, to our friends and neighbors in our region for lasting economic resiliency.
Cheers,
